LUT / ADOBE 2006
A new meaning for a traditional material
The LUT 2006 project rediscovers and valorizes the structural and visual qualities of clay and also the traditional techniques with the aim to develop contemporary methods and technologies of visual and architectural construction.
In the context of the necessity of a sustainable development for Romania, the project contributes to the implementation of ecological construction through concentration of authorities' and civil society's interest on the local natural resources and know-how in order to improve the suffering human habitats and of extreme poverty diminishing.

The revitalization of the Bánffy Castle, Bonŝida, Romania - Setting up the Specialization Centre in the field of rehabilitating the built heritage
Once known as the Versailles of Transylvania, the Bánffy Castle is one of the most famous castles in Romania. Due to its precarious condition, in 1999/2000 the Castle was included on the list Of the Most Endangered 100 Sites in the world created by the World Monument Watch. Transylvania Trust, together with the Institute for Historic Building Conservation (IHBC), Ministry of Culture in Romania and British Council, has identified a way to rehabilitate one of the most important historical monuments in Transylvania and to use it for specializing a new generation of qualified workers in traditional crafts. |

EuroLiteraTur - Multimedia interactive exhibition
EuroLiteraTur was an annual co-operation project, of European dimensions, developed between May 1, 2004 and April 30, 2005 and which was financed through the European Union "Culture 2000" Programme, 2004 Calls for Proposals, Book and Reading Section. The project has benefited of a good co-operation between the project leader, the National Museum of Romanian Literature, 6 co-organizers from 6 European countries and with the support of 45 local, national and European partners from 13 countries (Romania, Greece, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, France, Portugal, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Sweden and Hungary).
